Flying to Cerritos Beach

If you are flying into Mexico, the closest airport to Cerritos Beach is the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which is approximately a 50-minute drive away.

The airport in La Paz (LAP), which about a 90 minute drive, is a good second option to search for flights.

Many rental car companies have offices at the airport, and there are also several shuttle services available that can take you directly to your destination. It's important to note that if you choose to rent a car, you'll need to purchase Mexican car insurance.

Driving To Cerritos Beach

If you are driving south down the Baja peninsula, you can take Highway 1 past La Paz and merge onto Highway 19 toward Todos Santos.

You will pass Todos Santos into the town of El Pescadero, where you will turn right (west) onto a dirt road (just past marker KM65). This dirt road will take you all the way to Cerritos Beach. It's recommended to use a GPS or map to ensure you're on the right track.

Can I drive my RV to Cerritos Beach?

Yes! Many people bring their RVs all the way down the peninsula to Cerritos Beach and the surrounding areas. You will find everything from campervans to huge toyhaulers to luxurious Class A’s in Cerritos Beach.

Be warned that the bigger you are, the less options you will have for RV parks (this is true throughout Baja). No matter what size your RV is, it would be beneficial to be set up for dry camping / boondocking, as full hookup RV spots are hard to come by.
